New Chooks in da house

After the dreaded dog attack which saw the demise of all four chooks, we have re inforced the cage and found some new residents. For ease of naming thay are all now called Ebony.. well, Karla has different names for them, but they are pretty hard to tell apart so I just call them all one name. Anyaway they are laying 4 days after coming home, so they seem pretty good. Its much nicer having the choks clucking away down the back.

If you look closely you can see the giant possum trap in the back awaiting to catch the big red bull dog that climbs the fence. Soon we will trap him and send him off for dietary re education.
