Kayak repairs are GO!

Well - heres a pic of my reconstructed kayak combing on Elver. The new glass is clear, over the older cracked white glass. I reckon it looks mighty fine for a first ever attempted kayak repair on a curved bit by me.. :) Repairs begin tonight on Karlas boat too.

Breakfast at Chinamans beach

Saturday am we went out for a paddle and breaky at Chinamans Beach, nice out of the wind and in the sun on a rock. Fried mushies and tomatoes, haloumi cheese for bacon replacement, and yummo coffee. Had a nice little rolling session too. Bit nipply in the water though :)
Watched terns diving for piulchards in the shallows, and cheaky seagulls chasing them to steal the fish.

Kayaks and more Kayaks

Karla and I picked up 2 new old boats on the weekend. Sorry Jim but yes they are the same kind of boats but they were real cheap.. Now for the fibreglass repairing. Time to get itchy arms for the next few weeks. Got myself on that needs heaps of repair for use as a bash round boat.
Karla is pretty stoked with finally having a kayak to paddle round too.
