Sunday Whale Watching

Headed out Sunday morning with to look for some whales off the heads - We saw about 4 different whales - One of them was breaching beautifully just for us. Anoth magic calm day with no swell, just perfect for bobbing about in the boat. We chased the James craig in but couldnt keep up with its diesel sails.

Early monday morning I took some paddles out to Sydney Harbour Kayaks for them to sell. So if you want a really nice greenland paddle, get down there and buy one :)

Paddling Saturday

Karla and I went paddling on Saturday - out from Castlecrag for a picnic at Grotto Pt, and then poked our noses out to Crater Bay, just inside the heads. The beach near crater bay has washed away recently.. Nice flat calm afternoons paddling. Used my Huon paddle and the more I use it the better I think it is. Its all about style and grace to get really efficient paddling.
