Ella Bee Gillies Nicholson
After about 14hrs of effort Ella was born this morning. She's beautiful. Dark hair and green eyes for the moment. 8lb 5oz (3.77kg in the new money) and 52.5cm long. Overdue by 12 days and well cooked, she came out a bit blue and squarking. She makes really nice snuffling sounds and has a lovely little crying noise.
Both Karla and Ella are well, and are in Lismore Base for a few days to get into the routine.
The Bee is just to add that North Coast touch. We thought Chai Lovechild might be a bit much so opted for the current configuration.
Before and after photo included to tell you just how little we understood before the birth! (Karla is on the monitor prior to starting a part induction.)

amazzzzzing! cute too! Most babies are a bit weird lookin when they first come out but Ella is a cute. Say Hi to Karla from Jim and I say ow! that musta hurt ;-)

(oops sorry last blog- it's late and i am a bit sleepy!),
Congratulations! Ella "Bee' is a beautiful baby.
I was wondering over the years what happened with you Karla, nice to see things are going great for you. Wishing all three of you a beautiful, happy and blessed future. Please give me regards to your parents for me.
