Ahhh thats why I live here!
I headed out early for a surf this morning - got down tot he beach just before 6 just as the sun was rising. (Karla is working as a posty so I get up with her in the mornings sometimes) Offshore breeze, nice little 2 to 3 foot waves and there were dolfins playing in the waves as I paddled out and the sun creeping up behind the breaking crests. Magic stuff!! I even managed to ride a wave properly all the way in in from the end of the point not bad considering my recent efforts at stacking on every wave.
To top it all off there was only one other person out there, an offshore breeze and heaps of time between waves so paddling out wasn't too hard. All up nearly 2 hrs in the water and I still made it to work before 8.30.
Yup its worth not living in Sydney :)

That sounds great, sorry I missed your call I was still asleep. I have irregular hours as you can guess. I'm thinking of heading to Cornwall this summer to go surfing there, prob just boogie boarding. Can't afford a proper surfboard as I still got my bike to work on.

Looks like it would be sweet for some ocean kiyaking, lots and lots of wildlife off the Cornish coast seals, dolphins, Whales even Puffin's :-) I'm quite keen to see some Puffins
